Recently, we sent you an email message with instructions on how to submit a review of our school if you would like to. One way we get the word out about our outstanding school is through Yelp Reviews and Google Reviews. So be on the look for these items coming home. These projects include creating Classroom Books, creating a robot, creating an art project with recyclable items. Wednesday, November 18 th– Mickey Mouse’s Birthday!!!- Wear your Favorite Disney Shirt or outfitĭuring the month of November our students will be engaging in school wide art projects on Thursdays. Tuesday, November 10 th-Dress Like a Scientist day Wednesday, November 4 th-Wear clothes backwards day Throughout the month, we will have a variety of Spirit Days. The week of October 16 th I will be reading The Earth Book by Todd Parr and the week of October 23 rd I will be reading Twas’ the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dave Pilkey. The week of October 9 th I will be reading Not a Box by Antoinette Partis. I will be going into classrooms to read to students: The week of October 2 nd I will be reading, How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food? by Jane Yolen. We will be posting these Tom the Turkey Disguises in the school for all to enjoy them. Think of a disguise that is unique and special. You might want to disguise Tom the Turkey as a superhero, cartoon character, football player or ballerina. You may use items found around the house to create your turkey disguise like fabric, paper scraps, ribbons, tissue paper, craft feathers and crayons. Then, at home families work together to give Tom the Turkey a disguise to keep Tom the Turkey off the Thanksgiving dinner plate. Families will be given a Tom the Turkey template. We will be doing a family project called the Turkey Disguise art project. Week of 11/9-STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics Poor Tom the turkey doesnt want to be eaten for Thanksgiving dinner.

At Chesterbrook Academy 710 we have some fun and exciting activities planned for the month of November. Disguise a turkey this Thanksgiving with our free printable turkey template and. I know we are all looking forward to spending time with family on Thanksgiving Day. It is a time for family to gather and enjoy good food and time together. November is a time of Thanksgiving and being grateful for the blessings we have in our lives. For more information please see our Parent Handbook or reach out to a member of our administrative team. This reduces the spread of illness and allows your child to fully recuperate. The most important thing you can do to assist us in creating a healthy environment is to keep your child home if they are ill. Our parents are vital partners in helping us to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students in our school. As our students engage in November learning activities our staff will be sharing photos with you all on Links 2 Home.
