It's bizarre to me that my last post in this thread was only last year.

Asus Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapter (used with my Sony WH-1000XM4 noise cancelling headphones on occasion).
Gigabyte Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 2GB (non-Ti) with Arctic Accelero III after market GPU cooler (cooler is heatsink only, fans and shroud removed).

NoFan CR-95C (massive passive cooler, supposedly good for up to 95W TDP CPUs, but only for moderately long bursts of about 10 minutes at full load in my experience, can run full load on current CPU without ever thermal throttling). Silverstone Fortress SST-FT03 micro-ATX case (chosen for its vertical configuration to take advantage of "chimney effect" for passive air convection, cheaper than the rebranded Nofan CS-70 case which has more vents in the side panels). Intel DH87RL micro-ATX motherboard (chosen for the fact the main PCIe x16 slot is in the 2nd slot position to accommodate the large CPU heatsink). Intel i7-4870HQ (4C8T, 47W TDP - laptop CPU that has been modified to work in a LGA 1150 motherboard, basically a poor man's i7-5775C). I had to mix and match parts to avoid coil whine and am loathe to tinker with the system any further. The system is absolutely silent at all loads. I don't remember exactly what I paid for everything, but I think I was able to keep it under $550(USD)by mainly sticking to buying used parts. They were selected to give the best performance to power consumption ratio with passive cooling being the ultimate goal. It's a bit of an oddball assortment of parts. I haven't cleaned it for awhile and am still not planning to do it. I mostly use it for web browsing and media playback nowadays. The CPU has 128MB of eDRAM which acts like a L4 cache which really smoothed out and helped with minimum framerates in games. I used to play Civilization V and Company of Heroes 2 on it a fair amount when I first put it together. It's not my main computer, but acts more like a HTPC and light gaming machine. I think I put it together around 5 years ago. Well, hestermofet has inspired me to post my passively cooled build as well.
